Vermont Granite Museum and Stone Arts School
The Mission of the Vermont Granite Museum is to preserve, honor, and showcase Vermont's granite heritage. The Museum vision is to serve as a museum that draws people to Barre and engages a broader community through hands-on experience, outreach, and education. Our vision includes building a collection and creating displays that celebrate stone art, trades, and manufactured stone product. The Mission of the Stone Arts School is to become North America's premier source of information and education for stone arts, trades, and manufacturing. |

Historic Windsor, Inc. and the Preservation Education Institute
Historic Windsor was formed in 1971 when a group of citizens, motivated by a common interest in historic preservation, joined together to prevent the demolition of Windsor House in Windsor, Vermont. The Preservation Education Institute is a division of Historic Windsor, Inc. Formed in 1982 to provide training in historic preservation skills for building professionals, its mission has expanded to provide training for property owners, preservation professionals, and people who "love old buildings." |

Dry Stone Conservancy
The Dry Stone Conservancy was incorporated in 1996 as a 501(c)3 organization to preserve existing dry-laid stone structures, and to revive and promote the ancient craft of dry stone masonry. The Conservancy has conducted training and restoration projects for National Park Service personnel in 20 states and has provided advice and consultations in 35 other states. DSC has contributed expertise to projects in architecture, engineering, conservation, preservation, history, geography, job development, and tourism. |

Harpoon Brewery is an American microbrewery, with plants in Boston, Massachusetts and Windsor, Vermont. Founded in 1986, the brewery was the first company to obtain a permit to manufacture and sell alcohol in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in over 25 years. In 2000 it purchased the former Catamount Brewery plant in Windsor. Harpoon has played an important part in the rebirth of the microbrewery system in the United States. The brewery is best known for its Harpoon India Pale Ale. The Timber Framers Guild is a non-profit educational membership association dedicated to the craft of timber framing. The Guild serves as a center of timber frame information and design for the professional and the general public.
